Ribbon Necklace

A tribute to the first stitches. This renda necklace brings together traditional pontos da renda in a ribbon-like chain, handwoven by renderas in Brazil.  Each piece preserves the small irregularities that make the stitch alive. A translucent acetate magnetic clasp adds a contemporary contrast to the texture of the lace.
