From my first step into Venice, I felt as if I was in a theater. Every part of every view is so well designed and attractive. Every detail of the city is reflected with stunning distortion in the water of the canals. I wanted to show the theatrical nature of the city, which is also known for Carnival and romance. It is playful and provocative. Many things are half-hidden, by masks or fog or shadows. But not everything.
